Ruby is such a clever donkey, full of imagination and always thinking about her next adventure. In the past, she has been known to unlock the doors to her barn and take her entire herd out for a walk!
Ruby was hand-reared by her loving owners and loved human company. She then came to us so that she could get all the attention she craved. She now lives in Sidmouth’s Shelter 1 where she gets endless amounts of affection from visitors, grooms and volunteers alike.
She is easy to spot as she is one of our tallest adoption donkeys. The other being fellow adoption donkey Bonnie.

We aim to get your beautiful adoption pack or renewal pack to you within 14 days. Please be aware that we use Royal Mail to send these, and delivery is subject to any strikes and delays that they may be experiencing.
If you are adopting a donkey as a gift, please note the pack will arrive in The Donkey Sanctuary branded packaging.
