Theo is a brave character and incredibly laid-back. He's happy to participate in energetic play sessions with the rest of the herd and equally happy waiting by the fence for a scratch behind the ears.
Theo's demeanour is a world away from the nervous donkey we found on the night of his rescue. Theo was rescued on a cold New Year's Eve alongside his friend Connie and his son David.
Theo now lives at The Donkey Sanctuary Leeds with David, and the pair love spending time together. They have an excellent bond but, like all parents, Theo enjoys some peace and quiet every now and then!
